Festival of Trees Celebrates Its 30th Anniversary
ORLANDO, Fla. (Oct. 3, 2016) – Tickets are now on sale for one of Central Florida’s favorite holiday traditions, Festival of Trees.
This year marks the 30th year for Festival of Trees, the Council of 101’s annual event benefiting the Orlando Museum of Art. Together, the Festival of Trees and the other Council of 101 events have raised more than $6.8 million for the museum’s educational programs.
This year’s theme is The Art of the Holidays. As always, the event features designer-decorated trees, elegant holiday wreaths, elaborate gingerbread houses, holiday vignettes and tabletop displays. Visitors can admire the gorgeous trees and even purchase one to display in their own home.
Festival of Trees is also a great place to start the holiday shopping by visiting one of the many boutiques that offer a variety of gifts. Guests can also enjoy food and refreshments in the museum café.
Admission to Festival of Trees includes admission to the entire Orlando Museum of Art and its current exhibitions.
Special events at this year’s Festival of Trees include:
- A Night in White; the Festival’s opening gala on Friday, Nov. 11; Corporate & VIP tables available.
- Festival Salutes Seniors; $10 tickets at the door and special entertainment for guests 65 and older on Tuesday, Nov. 15.
