Madame Tussauds Orlando Welcomes Cody Simpson
Orlando, Fla. – Mar. 4, 2015 – Australian-born singer-songwriter Cody Simpson will meet his new wax figure for Madame Tussauds Orlando on Friday, Mar. 18 and a few lucky fans will have the chance to enjoy VIP treatment and a celebrity meet-and-greet at a special event at the new attraction located at I-Drive 360 on International Drive.
Simpson met with Madame Tussauds artists where more than 300 precise measurements of his head and body were taken to create a perfect replica of the rising star. He also provided artists with clothing and accessories for his figure. The artists are so detailed they even replicated a tear in one of his shoes and copied the graffiti art on Simpson’s guitar.
“Working with the Madame Tussauds team was a really unique experience,” said Simpson. “I am excited to share the unveiling of my new Madame Tussauds figure with my fans in Orlando.”
Fans of the singer are invited to Madame Tussauds Orlando on Mar. 18 to be a part of the unveiling with Cody Simpson himself! For a chance to sit in the VIP area for the figure unveiling and meet the star, fans can submit a 30-second video describing why they deserve to be among the lucky few to obtain a VIP seat and a meet and greet with Cody.
